St. Paul commands that "requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone" (1 Timothy 2:1).
Although the term, "Prayer Warrior," itself is not found in Scripture, a Prayer Warrior in our church community is considered to be a person, who upon receiving an email from the church office, instantaneously prays for the immediate need(s) of a fellow parishioner(s).
For example, if a Sts. Peter's and Paul parishioner or a member of our mission church, Immaculate Conception, is in dire need of prayer--like an accident, upcoming operation or needing comfort upon notice of a death in the family--an email will be sent to the email of preference asking for prayers. If you can recite an OUR FATHER or HAIL MARY for the recipient the moment you receive the email, this is an option. Although we pray for all of the sick and infirmed in our community daily, this email chain is only for those who need instant prayers.
To submit a Prayer Request for the Prayer Warriors list, please call the church office at 979-865-2368 or email the church at [email protected].
Your name will only be used for Prayer Warriors notifications and will not be published on the web. This is NOT a prayer chain.
